About Our Sheepskins

Our sheepskin rugs are all sourced from local Welsh farmers from Halkyn to Abergele and Anglesey.

They are all handmade by Lucy who puts hours of time and care into each skin to provide the best quality.

The grey skins are dyed using Snowdonian dye and the cream/white are completely natural. Each skin is then finished with a lanolin coat to ensure it keeps the softness that makes it perfect for barefoot walking or as a throw for furniture.

Aftercare

To care for the skins we recommend using a standard wire pet brush to work out the knots and brush out any dirt. Please do not wash the rugs in a machine as this can damage the skin and the lining and remove the oils in the wool. Instead we suggest spot cleaning with luke warm water or using specially made shampoos.
